So the first thing I am starting to work on is the over all visual look and feel of the wedding as far as stationary and printed materials go. This is pretty important as far as I am concerned because it directs the expectations of the guests and it sets the tone of your event.
For example, if you are have a more formal wedding, you would want to go with a more traditional, swirly/script type invitation but if you are having a more casual wedding (like mine) you can do whatever you want.
